According to several news outlets, Kathleen Casey-Kirschling, born January 1 1946, today became the first baby boomer to apply for Social Security. The end of the world and total economic collapse of the United States is at hand. Stock up on canned goods and run for the hills.

Too bad for you, because you just missed the other end of the "boom". By the time you retire, it will be up to one working couple to support you....their retiree. Reminds me about the Bureau of Indian Affairs lacky who was in tears because "his Indian died". and no, that's not racist, it's a jab at gov. 'crats.
